Happy Friday!! I really hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We spent our day with friends and family at our new place, which unfortunately is still not livable, but everyone seemed to have a good time. Evan loved his Easter bunny surprises and was a pro hunting for those eggs, but then again he did get some practice the week before. Evan helped filling the eggs with chocolate, we made cupcakes, but totally forgot to dye eggs.😂 We had so much food, rode four wheelers, and had a fun day full of adventure.

Every year our tradition is to have Evan pick out what he wants in his basket, and this year I only let him pick out a few things because we wanted the Easter bunny to pick out the others. He's older this year I wanted him to be a little surprised vs. previous years he knew what was in his basket. Seeing his little face full of excitement is priceless. I used the same basket as last year because it is just too cute not to, and this mama was on a budget.

CHEERIOS TRAIL MIX
4/10/17
Our weekends are not the same if we don't bake or create something delicious in the kitchen. Evan is like my little helper and always so inquisitive in the kitchen. Baking on weekends is almost like a tradition for us to celebrate his childhood. Dia del Niño is soon approaching and we created a fun and delicious trail mix that you have to try at home. I love that a trail mix can be a fun and fresh snack for the kiddos, and a great activity to have them do. A trail mix requires nuts, seeds, grains, dried fruit, and sweets. The Honey Nut Cheerios provides the grains and sweetness from the honey, we have cashew, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and the coconut chips complete this delicious mix. This trail mix has it all and kid approved!
