We are currently getting ready for the International Championship Cup (ICC) Guadalajara vs Atlético Madrid soccer game tonight at 8 pm central time. For the fourth consecutive year, McDonald's is bringing an unforgettable soccer experience to communities across the country including a day of training with soccer legends at youth soccer camps and McDonald's Player escorts walking hand-in-hand onto the field with soccer players during the ICC matches. NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE PURCHASES
The sale is finally open to the public and you can shop these discounted items until August 4th. This is my first year actually shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and being able to pick up items before they sell out. I was smart about what I purchased and only shopped for closet staples. Jackets, cardigans and shoes were my main focus. The majority of the items I picked up are sold out, but I was able to find two items at a different retailer for the same price. The Spanx Faux leather leggings and Adidas Sneakers! I will leave all items and sizing liked below. Just for sizing reference I wear size Medium/Large in tops, 6-8 in jeans and size 7 shoes.

Every year most items I want are always sold out by the time the sale gets to the public. So this year I finally gave in and just got a credit card. I plan to shop, but only shop for items that I know I will use over and over. My goal is to shop for outerwear and shoes. I have my eye on a few beauty products but I guess I will decide once the sale goes live. I have browsed endlessly and am sharing my favorite picks from the sale. A lot of my picks are under $50 and some under $100, but nothing over that price point. If I see anything else once the sale goes live I will add on. You guys know I have been working with McDonald's this year and it has been so much fun. I have respect for brands and companies that give back to the community and that is something McDonald's does wonderfully. Over the weekend we were able to attend a really fun event hosted by McDonald's and our local police department. Cones with Cops is new initiative with McDonald’s of North Texas and Plano, Fort Worth and Longview
Police Departments to boost officer and community relations by providing families with the opportunity
to interact with Police Officers working in their neighborhood.
Officers of all levels - including Sergeants, Deputy Chiefs and Neighborhood Patrol Officers were able to discuss public safety and build relationships with those they serve. We were able to ask any safety questions and concerns while we all enjoyed ice cream cones.
The ice creams kept on coming and we had to much fun! My sisters tagged along with my nephews and niece and we had a great time. Birdie the Early Bird and Hamburglar even made a special appearance.
