During my pregnancy I gained so much weight. I figured that after I had my baby I would automatically drop the weight and be back to normal. I never imagined that losing weight would be so difficult. My body changed so much during and after my baby. Breastfeeding played a huge role in my weight loss journey the first few months. I managed to lose fifty pounds in three months, but slowly I began to gain weight because I was eating whatever I wanted. Before Evan I could eat anything and although I was curvy, I was comfortable with my weight. Now I have to make sure I watch what I eat. I have to eat healthy, count my calories, and work out. It's been rough, but I've turned to a great product. Slimfast has been a life savor.
Currently, I am down 5 pounds and extremely satisfied with Slimfast 14-Day Slimdown. This is just the beginning of my slim down journey and would love to hear your weight loss tips.
Make sure to follow Slimfast on Pinterest and like on Facebook for weight loss recipes, diet tips, and motivation to slim down fast. Look and feel great this Summer with Slimfast.

I knew that in order to start losing a few pounds I needed to follow a strict diet. Slimfast 14-Day Slimdown has given me the motivation I have been searching for. After discovering I could lose up to six pounds in two weeks I knew I had to give it a try. With a kid it's so hard to eat three meals a day. I normally eat one meal and pretty much snack on whatever I can find. I was starting to feel so unhealthy and obviously I was gaining weight. I signed up for Slim Coaching to receive more information on how to get started. Aside from all the information provided you receive daily motivation, tips from experts, and funny videos.

Slimfast 14-Day Slimdown is so convenient and delicious. Simply replace two meals with with a Slimfast shake or meal bar, one meal must be 500 calories, and three snack per day. It's not difficult to follow and really works for me. Ultimately, my goal is to be healthier, feel confident, and look amazing. Slimfast is helping me achieve my goal.
As much as I love the Slimfast shakes, I am currently obsessed with these Slimfast gimme some GREEK YOGURT and HONEY, honey snack bars. Snacking on anything and everything was my problem. Now, I have left all of the junk food in the past, and moved on to tastier and healthier things. These Slimfast bars have been my go to snack. I make sure I have one with me at all times. Whether I am out and about, or just at home I really enjoy my Slimfast gimme some GREEK YOGURT and HONEY, honey snack bars. They are the perfect combination, Greek yogurt and delicious honey. Each snack bar contains 110 calories, which helps me balance my 1200 calorie diet. I personally find Slimfast products the most affordable compared to other weight loss programs. These Slimfast snack bars are available in 6-count boxes of 28g bars and retail for $5.49.

Monthly update
19 & 20 MONTH UPDATE
7/14/14
Evan is twenty months today. I still can't believe that he turns two in four months. There are too many mixed emotions when our little one grows, right? I'm literally in tears when I think about it. It's been a crazy/adventurous two month for us. It seems like the older Evan is, the more active he is. Some days he even refuses to nap during the day. I'm exhausted by the end of the day and all I want to do is sleep. Regardless, I am enjoying every minute with my little man. He inspires me on a daily basis.

GROWTH: It doesn't seem like his weight or height have changed. He is still wearing 12-18 months in most clothes and a size 5 in moccs or 6 in every other shoe.
FAVORITE WORDS & OTHER MILESTONES: He's talking so much. The newest words in his vocabulary are "again", "stop it", "paleta"(lollipop), "mano"(hand), "stinky feet", "eww", "walking", "goodbye see you", "oh my gosh", and my favorite "what's up dude?" haha. Pretty much anything he hears he repeats. The pronunciation of numbers and letters are so much clear and understandable now. He loves to sing and knows pretty much all of the words to each song. He is starting to listen and follow rules. For example, after he finishes his yogurt he'll go throw it in the trash. He knows where certain things go. My parents are always looking for their house phone. It's always misplaced, but Evan always puts it back on the base. Now my parents know that's the first place to look. He is incredibly smart and funny. I'm so lucky to have such a cool kid.
FAVORITE FOODS: Mac & cheese, pizza, and corn on the cob are his top three favorite foods. Yogurt, cheese, and oranges(really any fruit) are his favorite snacks. He has a weird obsession with sour cream and ranch. He is starting to each so much more. I'm hoping it stays like this for a while. I love it when he eats everything on his plate. From time to time I may treat him with a organic lollipop, which he absolutely loves.
FAVORITE TOYS/ACTIVITIES: Being outside is for sure his favorite thing to do. He loves playing with his soccer ball, every time we make a trip to the grocery store he asks for a soccer ball or really any kind of ball and we always give in and buy him one. He literally has a ball collection. Haha I'm almost positive I have a future professional soccer player on my hands. Reading has become a favorite again. He loves for us to read to him before bed and all we hear are the sweetest words "again, again." He loves to draw all over the place. He calls crayons Elmo's, because we draw him Elmo's and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Swimming and washing his hands is something he asks to do on a daily basis. I have listed a few things we have absolutely loved these past two months.

Pineapple Bloomers // Saltwater Sandals // Soccer Ball // Aquaphor Baby // Organic Lollipops // Toy Cars
LEAST FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: He is not a fan of wearing a diaper. I always have to put bottoms on him because next thing you know that diaper is off. Diaper changes are not his thing. I think it's time to slowly begin potty training. He hates the when I say no, he will freak out and get very upset. The best way to avoid these situations is by simply distracting him with something else. If he wants to touch something that he shouldn't, I'll start jumping and singing which automatically catches his attention and he will join in on the fun. Sharing can be difficult for Evan at times. For the most part he will share and all the kids are happy, but there are times when both want the same toy. It can be rough, luckily he gets over it very fast.

JULY WISHLIST
7/11/14
My top five items that Evan and I need this month. The Cleobella purse is sold out, but I am crossing my fingers that it will be in stock soon. I am obsessed! How adorable is the pillow? We have an obsession with Peter Pan, so when I saw this I knew Evan had to have it. I think the t shirt describes every little kid. I know Evan is super loud and crazy, this shirt fits his personality perfectly. I have been working out way more. I am on a mission to lose a few pounds, this watch would be perfect to know an accurate amount of calories burned each work out. The nail polish is just for fun. I am in love with anything gold. I haven't found the perfect shade of gold. Maybe this one is it.
Have a great weekend friends!!!

4TH OF JULY WEEKEND
7/8/14
Our weekend was fun and simple. I didn't go crazy planning anything. I just wanted to spend this weekend with family, fireworks, and lots of food. This year was Evan's first year experiencing fireworks. Last year he was too little, so we didn't even bother to watch them. He was so excited to see so many colors in the sky. I posted the sweetest picture of Evan on Instagram while he patiently waited for the fireworks. I'm really looking forward to our next fourth of July, because I am positive he will enjoy this holiday even more. Although I didn't get to capture many of these memories, it will for sure be a very memorable weekend.

Enjoying most of our day outside was a must this fourth of July. Evan really enjoyed picking apple pears from my parent's fruit trees.
We ended our weekend with funnel cakes topped with blueberry and strawberry jam. Yum! These were a hit. We had so much to eat this weekend. I am so regretting it today, but it was so worth it.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!! xoxo

BJ'S RESTAURANT MOBILE APP

We love going out to eat as family. As much as we do this often, eating out isn't always easy when you have a kid. Evan will occasionally throw a tantrum, or he will refuse to eat and just want to run around. It can be very stressful and in a way ruin your meal. It's happened one too many times, all because ordering and looking at the menu is time consuming. Kids don't like to wait and even as adults waiting can be a bit annoying. All my worries about eating out are gone now that BJ's Restaurant has a new mobile app. Aside from delicious food, they have created a brilliant app. It's perfect for anyone, but I highly recommended for us mamas. I ordered our meal while getting ready! How amazing is that? This app is just genius. I love that I can order and pay at my convenience. Everything is simple, the menu is easy to read and hassle free. You have the option to Dine In Order Ahead, Take out, or the Preferred Wait-list.
When we arrived we were politely greeted and I informed the front desk we had ordered through their app. We were instantly seated and once our waitress introduced herself we were given our drinks and our order was placed. Our appetizer came out a little after, and before we knew it our food was being served. Our experience at BJ's Restaurant was not what I expected.
I always find myself giving different things to Evan to keep him entertained while we wait for our food, but today was the complete opposite. Evan was too into his avocado he didn't have time to fuss or complain about the wait. Instead he was dancing and munching on his food. For the first time in a really long time I got to enjoy my meal. I didn't have to eat it cold or in worse scenarios take my food to go. I am beyond pleased with how smooth everything went. The food was exquisite(as always) and not to mention their superior customer service.

Once we finished our meal we didn't have to wait for our waitress to give us the check because we simply checked out through Mobile Pay on our app. We even received $5 off of our total just for using the app. BJ's Restaurant app makes eating out more enjoyable and fun. I will definitely be using this app more often. You can download it now for your iPhone and Android. This application is fast, free, and convenient. If you give it a try please share your experience. You can thank me later!
