Evan is twenty months today. I still can't believe that he turns two in four months. There are too many mixed emotions when our little one grows, right? I'm literally in tears when I think about it. It's been a crazy/adventurous two month for us. It seems like the older Evan is, the more active he is. Some days he even refuses to nap during the day. I'm exhausted by the end of the day and all I want to do is sleep. Regardless, I am enjoying every minute with my little man. He inspires me on a daily basis.
GROWTH: It doesn't seem like his weight or height have changed. He is still wearing 12-18 months in most clothes and a size 5 in moccs or 6 in every other shoe.
FAVORITE WORDS & OTHER MILESTONES: He's talking so much. The newest words in his vocabulary are "again", "stop it", "paleta"(lollipop), "mano"(hand), "stinky feet", "eww", "walking", "goodbye see you", "oh my gosh", and my favorite "what's up dude?" haha. Pretty much anything he hears he repeats. The pronunciation of numbers and letters are so much clear and understandable now. He loves to sing and knows pretty much all of the words to each song. He is starting to listen and follow rules. For example, after he finishes his yogurt he'll go throw it in the trash. He knows where certain things go. My parents are always looking for their house phone. It's always misplaced, but Evan always puts it back on the base. Now my parents know that's the first place to look. He is incredibly smart and funny. I'm so lucky to have such a cool kid.
FAVORITE FOODS: Mac & cheese, pizza, and corn on the cob are his top three favorite foods. Yogurt, cheese, and oranges(really any fruit) are his favorite snacks. He has a weird obsession with sour cream and ranch. He is starting to each so much more. I'm hoping it stays like this for a while. I love it when he eats everything on his plate. From time to time I may treat him with a organic lollipop, which he absolutely loves.
FAVORITE TOYS/ACTIVITIES: Being outside is for sure his favorite thing to do. He loves playing with his soccer ball, every time we make a trip to the grocery store he asks for a soccer ball or really any kind of ball and we always give in and buy him one. He literally has a ball collection. Haha I'm almost positive I have a future professional soccer player on my hands. Reading has become a favorite again. He loves for us to read to him before bed and all we hear are the sweetest words "again, again." He loves to draw all over the place. He calls crayons Elmo's, because we draw him Elmo's and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Swimming and washing his hands is something he asks to do on a daily basis. I have listed a few things we have absolutely loved these past two months.

Pineapple Bloomers // Saltwater Sandals // Soccer Ball // Aquaphor Baby // Organic Lollipops // Toy Cars
LEAST FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: He is not a fan of wearing a diaper. I always have to put bottoms on him because next thing you know that diaper is off. Diaper changes are not his thing. I think it's time to slowly begin potty training. He hates the when I say no, he will freak out and get very upset. The best way to avoid these situations is by simply distracting him with something else. If he wants to touch something that he shouldn't, I'll start jumping and singing which automatically catches his attention and he will join in on the fun. Sharing can be difficult for Evan at times. For the most part he will share and all the kids are happy, but there are times when both want the same toy. It can be rough, luckily he gets over it very fast.
Too cute!!!
