Spring is finally here and we have been busy getting things done. From Spring cleaning to home remodels, spring break vacation and filing our taxes.  I have been blogging for a few years now and this is the second year I have to file my blogging taxes. I never imagined I could turn my blog into a business and help provide for my family. I am so grateful for that, but when tax season comes along I get nervous. I am always unsure if I saved the right receipts, or received all of my 1099's and pay stubs. I do not have a W-2 to help guide me. As a self-employed blogger filing taxes can be tricky.
H&R Block has been our go-to for the past few years and when I discovered they offer DIY filing online I wanted to give it a try. We live outside of the city and when we file our taxes in an office, we have to drive into town. The online option just seemed perfect for us. I was nervous that it would be extremely difficult but was pleasantly surprised at how straightforward and easy their step-by-step process is.

H&R Block’s DIY product allowed me to easily file online from home. No more driving miles from our home to file.

Why I decided to file online this year!
H&R Block online was easy and convenient with no hidden fees – With four different online products, H&R Block understands that one size DOES NOT fit all. I simply chose the online filing product that best fit my tax situation – for me that was the Self-employed product, since I have blogger income.  Then I uploaded my tax docs, went through the guided step-by-step process and voila! It was that easy! And it gave me peace of mind that if I had questions along the way, I could connect instantly with a tax expert who will screen share to see exactly where I was stuck and answer my questions. But the guided interview in the program helped me figure out what forms I needed to upload and made me feel secure that I wasn’t missing anything. I could even take a photo of my W-2 so all the information was imported without me having to type it in!  We have been filing with H&R Block for years but if you are thinking about switching over to H&R Block it is so easy!  You can just drag and drop your last year’s tax return!

I also loved that with H&R Block, there were no hidden fees or surprises. They told me the price up front and if it changed for any reason, they explained why.

I took several breaks last week to do my taxes and paint our living room and lived life in between! When I went back to continue the process of completing my taxes, everything was saved and I picked up right where I left off.
I am a busy mom - Spring is a busy season for us. There is school and sports for Evan, and we have remodels/spring cleaning going on around our home. It can get hectic, but just like shopping online is easiest, filing my taxes online with H&R Block was a no brainier. I had all the information, help and resources I needed. I was able to do things around my home and file my taxes too! For a mom this is life-changing!! To learn more about H&R Block and all the tax services they offer, visit their website here.

I am so happy with my experience with H&R Block online. By quickly and easily filing online, I was able to have more family time and do what needed to be done around the house. We even did some gardening, and I got my taxes done without stepping into an office. H&R Block made filing taxes this season so easy. Visit H&R Block Online for more!
