Fall is finally here! I am starting to shop for transitional pieces because in Texas we still have warmer weather. I think ankle boots are a perfect addition to any Fall wardrobe. Especially during this transition from Summer to Fall. You can wear them with jeans, dresses, shorts and leggings. Ankle boots are so versatile and it's hard not to find a cute pair. As a mom I am trying to find a bootie that is comfortable but will still gives me a little bit of height. I want it to have a little bit of a heel to help elongate my legs a bit. I am 5"1 and two or three inches go a long way for me. A lot of the boots that I have found while shopping have a western look to them and I absolutely love that. Fringe is huge this Fall and it truly looks fabulous on. Classic and simple are my favorite! I recently purchased a Steve Madden ankle boot in black and I am so crazy about them, but I really want a wine pair and a taupe pair. While I continue shopping for more ankle boots here are my top 5!
